Frequently Asked Questions
Fee & Payments
Online sessions are 50 minutes long and the fee is £50.
In Person (face to face) sessions are 50 minutes long and the fee is £75.
Online & In Person Sessions
I offer sessions online UK wide and in-person sessions in London (London Bridge, Bermondsey, Borough and City of London areas).
Missed Appointments
Once we have agreed to work together, your session will be reserved just for you. Therefore, payment for all sessions is essential, so as to offer security and consistency. However, you will not be charged for sessions when I am unavailable to meet with you, such as when I am on holiday or other exceptional circumstances. In all cases, and where possible, you will be given plenty of notice.
Late arrivals: sessions end at the agreed time.
Starting and Ending Therapy
Therapy begins when you come for your first session - online or in person
Either of us can end the sessions with at least one week’s notice.
Confidentiality
What you share is private and secure.
Information may only be shared if there is serious risk of harm to yourself or someone else, if any information is required by UK law (disclosure or knowledge of serious criminal activity such a acts or terrorism, , money laundering or drug trafficking) and for supervision purposes.
GDPR
Your personal details, session notes, and emergency contacts are stored safely - this in line with the General Data Protection Register.
Contact outside of the therapy room
Therapy is not offered by telephone, text or email.
For any mental health crisis crisis: in emergencies contact your local GP Surgery, NHS 111, 999 or Samaritans on 116 123.
Zoom sessions
Online sessions on Zoom require a private, safe, and secure space where you cannot be seen or overheard.
If technical problems occur, we’ll try to reconnect or use another method.
Professional boundaries
Therapy is professional only—no social media or personal relationships.
Close friends or family of existing clients may not be accepted to maintain boundaries.
Use of Substances
Please refrain from using alcohol or illegal substances before, or during sessions.
If under the influence, you may be asked to leave.
You as a Client
Please attend sessions regularly and on time.
Be aware that exploring difficult emotions is part of therapy, but you will be supported throughout. It’s important to remember therapy might affect you during the week as well as in the sessions.

Counselling and therapy can be a highly emotional experience and works best when clients are open and honest about their feelings and life experiences.
